	All new students can discuss any (particularly health) concerns they may have with the senior instructor before the start of the session, and can watch a session if they prefer not to join in straight away.
	Students of Lau Gar tend to be friendly and approachable and welcome new members to the club.
	Until their uniform arrives, beginners are expected to wear track-suit bottoms and a plain T-shirt with bare feet.
